With the mysterious apparition of ripe berry and relentless spice, Phantom returns to haunt wine lovers. Full of concentration and intensity, this wine will tease, tantalize and linger long after the last sip is gone.

Head-trained, dry farmed vines are prized for their production of small, concentrated clusters of grapes that produce incredibly rich and intense wines. For years, Bogle has sought out these gnarly old vines to create our Old Vine Zinfandel. Cedar, juniper berry and sweet dried herbs greet the nose of this wine, while focused flavors of dried plums, cranberries and cherries sink into a decadent, plush mouthfeel. Saturated and dense, the wine finishes with touches of licorice and spicy oak from the 12 months in 2 year-old American oak barrels.

Petite Sirah leads this haunting red blend with intense notes of dark blackberry and rich boysenberry. Zinfandel adds fiery pepper notes and brings a balanced structure to the final wine. In the finish, tantalizing layers of baking spices swirl amongst velvety tannins that have softened as they’ve aged 22 months in American oak. A sip of Phantom unfurls a seductive mystery yet to be solved.
